Pathfinder Quest T&C

Terms & Conditions:

1. This contest is open to all Malaysian residents aged eighteen 15 years to 20 years old.

2. Employees of BERJAYA Group Berhad (“Organizer”) and its subsidiaries/affiliates and their immediate families are not allowed to participate. This rule also applies to employees of all partners and/or sponsors of this contest, its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors and their immediate family members.

3. Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact details as they will be notified by the Organizer to collect the Prizes. The Organizer will not be held responsible if the winners cannot be contacted after three (3) attempts or if the notification email is directed to the spam folder of the email account provided.

4. If an element of fraud is detected (eg. fake Facebook referrals i.e. all from a single person, fake emails, etc), a participant can be suspended or disqualified at the sole discretion of the Organiser.

5. The Prizes are subject to availability. The Organiser reserves the absolute discretion to substitute any of the Prizes with that of similar value without prior notice. All Prizes are given on an “As Is Where Is” basis and are not exchangeable for credit, other prizes or voucher, in part or in full.

6. Participants shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, loss, damage, claim or accident (including death) resulting from their participation in the Contest, redemption and/or usage of the Prizes. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any liability, mishap, loss, damage, claim or accident (including death) in any manner whatsoever.

7. To enter, Participants must:

• Provide all the accurate details
• Complete the first quest and wait for the Final Quest announcement. (Only those who score the highest in the shortest time will be contacted. Only 200 participants will be allowed in the Final Quest.)
• Both quests will be conducted online.
  Preliminary Quest: 28 November 2020 - 27 December 2020
  Final Quest: 30 December 2020

8. Winners must collect their prizes at :

BERJAYA University College
Level 11 West, Berjaya Times Square,
No.1 Jalan Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

9. All costs, fees, and/or related expenses incurred or to be incurred by the Participants in relation to the Contest, and to claim the Prizes won, which shall include but not limited to the costs for transportation, SMS, postage/courier, personal costs and/or any other costs, are the sole responsibility of the winner and/or the Participants, as the case maybe, and the winner must abide by all laws and regulations currently in place and the terms and conditions of the party(ies) arranging and/or providing for the Prizes and the terms and conditions attached to the Prizes, if any

10. In view of the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Act, by participating in the Contest, the Participants hereby expressly grant the Organiser, its affiliates and partners the permission to use any and all information related to the Contest provided by the Participants for editorial, marketing, and any other purposes unless prohibited by law, without additional compensation, notification or permission. 11. All entry instructions and any other specific details relating to the Contest or the Prizes not specified herein shall form part of these Terms and Conditions.

12. The Organiser may forthwith disqualify/discontinue any of the Participants from the Contest in the event he/she breaches any terms contained herein.

13. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and Participants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.

14. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to review and vary any of the Terms and Conditions contained herein at any time and the Participants are highly advised to visit the website: www.berjaya.edu.my/university from time to time to ensure that the Participants are aware of any updates and changes made.

15. The Organiser’s decisions are final and there shall be no appeal entertained and/or allowed. All Participants shall not resort to court proceedings to review the Organiser’s decisions.

16. By participating in the Contest, the Participants agree at all times to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
