It was an incredible day of culinary excitement as 10 brilliant student teams from our Faculty of Culinary Arts battled it out at The Gourmet Black Box Challenge 2023, held at Level 14 East, Faculty of Culinary Arts.
The event showcased the immense talent and passion of our brilliant student teams who participated in a fierce culinary competition.
The competition was intense, and the level of talent on display was truly impressive. We congratulate all the participants for their hard work and dedication!
Alizza Hanim and Claudia Quah from the Faculty of Culinary Arts who emerged as the champions of this year’s Gourmet Black Box Challenge.
Following the intense challenge, the students wowed us with their extraordinary talent, creating a mouthwatering feast for all to savour at an unforgettable Exclusive VIP Fine Dining at Samplings on the Fourteenth. This dinner also served as a platform to honour the winners of the Black Box Challenge.
We would like to acknowledge the contribution of our students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism, who presented beautiful and magnificent table settings and servings. Their dedication added an extra touch of elegance to the event, making it truly unforgettable.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this inaugural event a resounding success and we look forward to more exciting events to come in the near future.
